JASON: OH. HI.
ELIZABETH: JASON, WHAT HAPPENED? JEEZ, I KNEW I SHOULDN'T HAVE LEFT YOU ALONE.
JASON: NO, NO, NO. I -- I SLEPT GREAT.
ELIZABETH: WELL, WHY WERE YOU TRYING TO GET UP?
JASON: I WAS JUST TRYING TO LOOK OUT THE WINDOW. NO, REALLY, I DO. I FEEL -- I FEEL A LOT BETTER.
ELIZABETH: HOW'S YOUR FEVER? YOU KNOW, MY HANDS ARE SO COLD, SO CLOSE YOUR EYES.
JASON: OH. MMM. YOU SMELL LIKE SNOW.
ELIZABETH: SNOW DOESN'T SMELL.
JASON: YES, IT DOES.
ELIZABETH: WELL, I GUESS YOU ARE FEELING A LITTLE COOLER.
ELIZABETH: ARE YOU SURE YOU DON'T WANT TO GO TO THE HOSPITAL?
JASON: YES. I WOULD NOT STAY IN A HOSPITAL. THIS IS GOOD. BUT I CAN LEAVE WHENEVER YOU WANT ME TO.
ELIZABETH: RIGHT. AND GO BACK TO THE BOXCAR? WHY'D YOU GO THERE, ANYWAY?
JASON: I DON'T KNOW. I GUESS BECAUSE IT WAS HOME TO ME FOR A WHILE. WHY DID YOU?
ELIZABETH: I GUESS I JUST WANTED TO SEE IT IN THE SNOW. IT WAS NEVER REALLY HOME TO ME, BUT I PAINTED IT TO LOOK LIKE ONE.
JASON: I NOTICED.
ELIZABETH: NOW, IF I GET YOU SOME SOUP, WILL YOU EAT IT?
JASON: WHAT FOR?
ELIZABETH: OH, I DON'T KNOW -- MAYBE TO SUSTAIN LIFE. BOBBIE TOLD ME NOT TO FORCE YOU TO EAT, BUT YOU NEED TO KEEP FLUIDS DOWN YOU.
JASON: WHATEVER YOU AND BOBBIE SAY.
ELIZABETH: OK. NOW I WANT YOU TO LIE DOWN BECAUSE YOU LOOK LIKE YOU'RE GETTING TIRED.
JASON: UM --
ELIZABETH: HERE.
JASON: I'M FINE.
ELIZABETH: NOPE. COME ON. LIE DOWN.
JASON: OH, GOSH.
ELIZABETH: I KNOW, I KNOW.
JASON: OH.
[JASON COUGHS]
ELIZABETH: THERE. YOU OK?
JASON: YEAH.
ELIZABETH: OK. I WON'T BE LONG, OK?
JASON: OK.
ELIZABETH: DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT.
CARLY: EXCUSE ME?
ELIZABETH: GOING BACK TO MY STUDIO. YOU'RE NOT WELCOME THERE.
CARLY: OH. EXCUSE ME, LITTLE GIRL, BUT IF YOU THINK YOU'RE GOING TO KEEP ME AWAY FROM JASON, YOU HAVE ANOTHER THING COMING.
ELIZABETH: OH, I CAN, AND I WILL. BECAUSE IT'S OBVIOUSLY WHAT HE NEEDS. HE'S HURT. AND I DON'T MEAN JUST THE GUNSHOT WOUND. YOU DID SOMETHING TO HIM. I DON'T KNOW WHAT, AND I DON'T EVEN WANT TO KNOW. BUT YOU ARE NOT GOING TO HAVE THE CHANCE TO DO IT AGAIN, AT LEAST NOT UNTIL HE'S STRONG ENOUGH TO FIGHT BACK.
CARLY: JASON DOESN'T NEED TO FIGHT ME.
ELIZABETH: NO, BECAUSE I'LL DO THAT FOR HIM FOR NOW.
CARLY: LOOK, YOU WANT TO PLAY HEROINE? THAT'S FINE. YOU CHANGE HIS BANDAGES AND YOU TRY TO KEEP HIM AWAY FROM ME. BUT UNDERSTAND -- I GOT RID OF ONE LITTLE ANGEL, AND I CAN GET RID OF YOU, TOO.
ELIZABETH: OH, TRUST ME, I'M NOBODY'S LITTLE ANGEL. YOU WANT A FIGHT? YOU'LL GET ONE. NOW LEAVE HIM ALONE.
CARLY: HE DOESN'T NEED YOU, ELIZABETH! HE LOVES ME! ME.
